Reilly Cup & the Handicap System

Hi Guys (and Gals)

Not just saying this because we got to the Final (and lost). But myself and our Team thought it great to get the opportunity to get as far as we did and to meet up with a Liverpool team (League 2 I believe) in that Final. No 'Premier League Team's making it. It proves that the handicap systems works great. (I know we had a 27 point lead/handicap) for each match. But every match we played was very close. All the teams we met on the way to the final were very magnanimous in defeat. We enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks to Paul Davitt (Liverpool) for organising a great Competition. Re: Reilly Cup & the Handicap System

Hallo Dave (and other mere mortals)

You should not have mentioned the extent of the handicap. Our air of invincibility will slip now.

When do we get our trophies? I have purposely built an extension to the house to create room for it.

Also, why do we not get our lavishly printed fixture books until several millennia after the season starts? Has nobody thought of investing in our own state-of-the-art John Bull printing set?

Re: Reilly Cup & the Handicap System

Dear Eric,

What a very fishy surname you have. But I'm sure your Mother loves you. Is that your 'Sole' name or do have a real surname?

Anyway, I wont 'Carp' on about it anymore. I know who you are. Roberto!

I mentioned the actual handicap amount to give encouragement to other teams who, like us, usually reside in the lower half of the Table. You know who you all are. We are the foundation stones of the League! It's worth going into the Competition.

As for the trophies! Ha, Ha, As for the extravagant handbook, Ha, Ha, As for the John Bull printing set. Ha, Let's go really upmarket and get some Letraset. Remember that?

As for your extension, I didn't think you were allowed them in Port Sunlight Village.
